Playing with three-dimensional texture and gorgeous hand-mixed metallic gold paint, this artwork overlaps a silkscreened shape on handmade paper with raised embossing detail. Hand-carved linoleum blocks are pushed through an etching press with extreme pressure to leave the raised embossing, creating an interactive layered design. The natural deckled edging of the handmade paper contrasts beautifully with the clean-lined shapes, and each piece is grounded with a hand-stained charcoal frame.
Silkscreen design with embossing on handmade paper with deckled edges floating on an off-white matboard under plexiglass.
Features a charcoal-colored hand-finished poplar wood frame.
